Adventure Coffee Company was born in Zephyr Cove from a simple idea shared by husband-and-wife founders Stan and Heidi Spry: life is better when you treat each day as an adventure.
The name carries personal meaning. Heidi walked down the aisle at their wedding to The Adventure by Angels & Airwaves — a song that still anchors how they live, work, and build. It also reflects Tahoe itself: a place where skiing, boating, hiking, and quiet mornings on the lake are part of everyday life.
We built ACC to be the home base for all of it — locals, visitors, remote workers, weekend warriors. Mountain comfort meets cool, calm, elevated coffee culture.

Every cup we serve is built on premium beans from James Coffee Company in San Diego, founded by David and Carina Kennedy. David is also the guitarist for Angels & Airwaves and Box Car Racer. Their craft sets the standard for everything we pour.

Tom DeLonge is the co-founder and frontman of blink-182 and Angels & Airwaves. The ownership group brings together music, film, and hospitality — but ACC is, first and foremost, a Tahoe place built for this community.
